About Clayton H
Clayton H is an AI educator and creative director based in Sydney, Australia, who helps creators and business owners keep up with content using AI, without spending hours producing it. I also make done-for-you AI visual work for brands.
What do I do?
I've been creating AI visuals for two years. I writeAI for Creators, a newsletter on Substack with 3,000 email subscribers, and publish free guides on this site to the AI techniques I use. Many of those techniques come from my reels, presented by an AI avatar.
My work covers four areas:
- Realistic AI images of people and products
- Consistent AI characters and AI twins
- AI video, from motion graphics to multi-shot films
- Content workflows built with Claude
You can see examples on the portfolio page.
Who is this site for?
The how-tos and products are for creators and business owners building a brand around a person, real or AI, who need a steady flow of content but don't have the hours, budget or camera time to make it all themselves. That includes faceless creators building a brand around an AI character, for privacy or creative freedom. Brands come to me fordone-for-you AI visual projects.
What's my background?
Before AI, I spent about ten years in customer strategy. As a regional leader across APAC at a global fashion retailer, I ran the customer insights department, managing its team and its projects. Before that, I worked in customer transformation consulting at a Big 4 firm. I hold a master's degree in organisational psychology. That background shapes how I work with AI: start with who the content is for and what they need to see, then direct the tools to deliver it.
How do I test the guides?
Every guide on this site comes from a technique I have used myself. The workflows were developed over hundreds of test generations, and each guide says which tool it was tested in. Where a prompt has only been tested in one tool, the guide says so, and says what tends to go wrong.
Why "AI has no taste"?
AI tools are fast, but left alone they slide towards the same generic look. My approach is to decide the important things once (how a character looks, what the brand looks like, what each shot should show) and write them into prompts precise enough that the tool follows them.
